HIGH TECH HEAT PROTECTION:Â E.COOLINE COOLING CLOTHINGÂ FOR MORE HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK
It’s getting warmer on our earth. This has an impact on the climate in the workplace. What do you do when it gets hot and sticky in the office? When working in the production or outdoors is hardly bearable? The stress caused by heat and UV radiation makes you weak and can be harmful to your health.
The unique hybrid 3 D technology of E.COOLINE integrated in smart designed clothing offers a hygienic, dry and carbon neutral cooling sensation for you – both indoors and outdoors.
Find out now about the perfect heat protection strategy for you and your company
MILLIONS OF PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH HEAT STRESS
Medical doctors and occupational scientists have shown in studies that many firefighters, for example, reach a body temperature of 38-39°C within 25 minutes. Many employees in workplaces above 26°C feel the same way. Not to mention hot workplaces at 37°C or working with protective clothing. But it does not have to be so extreme. Sooner or later, everyone will have problems with the heat at high temperatures.
The employer must take protective measures. Often with technical solutions as air conditioning. Unfortunately, these are not environmentally friendly and there are none outside or even in many buildings. That is why we have developed the perfect, climate-neutral heat protection strategy.

COOL INSTEAD OF FLABBY
COOLER IS HEALTHIER
Workplaces with temperatures exceeding 26°C or even 37°C are found in many facilities, mainly in steel mills or plastics factories.
No need to sweat till you drop! Fight exhaustion by cooling clothes such as cooling vest or cool shirt, and also with cooling caps, bandanas and neckbands. E.COOLINE is a unique cooling system, which mimics the natural climate control of the body and thus prevents loss of performance and concentration by heat and reduces health impacts by heat.
E.COOLINE was already successfully tested in most working areas: in the automotive industry, foundries, steel mills, glass factories or at construction sites. In all situations, E.COOLINE helped to keep the body temperatures of the employees at normal physiological level, i.e. between 28-32°C. The temperature was decreased by 6°C.

E.COOLINE FOR SAFETY
More than 30% less concentration in heat
In high temperatures, our cardiovascular systems run at maximum speed because the body suffers from loss of fluids and heat stress. Performance and concentration significantly decrease.
Employees are often not sufficiently protected against the impacts of heat. On the contrary! According to scientific studies, already 1.5-2% of fluid loss lead to a loss of performance of 4%.
A study carried out by Wuppertal University together with the German Federal Highway Institute determined that at 37°C concentration was already reduced by 32%. Aggressiveness rises, the number of accidents increases. The continuously high heart frequency due to maximum thermoregulation of the body and associated sweating and exhaustion add to this situation. H&S at the workplace is different.
- INCREASED NUMBER OF ACCIDENTS AT 27°C 11%
- INCREASED NUMBER OF ACCIDENTS AT 32°C 22%
- INCREASED NUMBER OF ACCIDENTS AT 37°C 32%

POLE POSITION BY COOLING
Concentration and performance are extremely important for the health and well-being of employees. In times of demographic change, good and healthy employees will guarantee the continuous success of companies.
Hot working environments together with a high increase of body temperature may lead to heat strokes or even the failure of vital organs. The mechanics in the Formula 1 are confronted with similar problems as 3.5 million employees in Germany and millions more worldwide.
With appropriate cooling these risks can be prevented. In the YouTube video at the side, Lotus F1 Race Manager Paul Seaby demonstrates what can be done with the use of cool shirt, arm coolers and helmet inlay

- The number of employees affected by heat is significantly higher than assumed. Most companies (75%) have a hot workplaces all year round or at least during summer time.
- According to 94% of all companies interviewed, heat related risk for employees caused has to be judged as very high with regard to health, accidents and performance.
- Concentration and performance decrease (confirmed by 96%), health risks increase (confirmed by 94%) and risk of accidents as well as sick rate rise (75%).

RISK FOR ELDERLY WORKERS
Heat affects the cardiovascular system
High temperatures demand a high performance from our cardiovascular systems. Our bodies have to deal with loss of liquid and heat.
Particularly elder or employees with cardiovascular problems are affected by heat. They often do not drink enough water. In elder people the ability to sweat has decreased and consequently their bodies are no longer able to easily release heat.
Both situations can lead to heat accumulation with a high increase of the body temperature. This can result in heat strokes or the failure of vital organs. Appropriate cooling helps to prevent these accidents.
Why heat is so dangerous
• On average, the workfore gets older and more health sensitive• On average, the workfore gets older and more health sensitive
• Higher risk by exposure of elder staff to heat exceeding 26°C, more downtime by increased sick rate or early retirement
• Shortage of younger workforce and skilled workers. There will be a lack of staff for the growth of your company.
Analyze the age structure of your workforce, identify hot workplaces exceeding 26°C and set the course to adapt to the demographic change at hot workplaces.
